Frosted Medallions 4 - Rich Razzleberry & Gold

I've had this ready to post for a while and found that I did not publish it! This is the fourth "Frosted Medallions" card I've made to share. A 4 1/2" x 41/2" square card in Rich Razzleberry and gold embossing.

My one regret about this card is that when I sponged Rich Razzlebery ink (ink resist technique) to darken behind the gold heat embossed medallions, the ink dulled the shiny gold. I guess not all colours work well in the ink resist technique.

You know how I like layers, they just seem to add a little something extra to the look of cards. Since this is a monochromatic card, the technique adds even more. The Sweet Sugarplum sparkly ribbon complements the Rich Razzleberry very well, too.

Just stamped a portion of the medallions onto Very Vanilla, on the inside.

This would make a great note card, all occasion card, large tag on a large gift, and even a subtle contemporary Christmas card.

Happy stamping everyone!

Forever Evergreen - Seashore stampers Blog Hop

Welcome from Mi Ran's blog! Hope that you having fun so far hopping from inspiration to inspirational idea. Another month has gone by and it's time for our Seashore Stampers Blog Hop. Today we are sharing Christmas, or 2016 Holiday Catalogue ideas. I chose to go with the "Forever Evergreen" stamp set. This stamp set also coordinates with the "Forever Evergreen Project Kit". but I made a card with it.

I love the little stars stamped in the background. They were off-stamped 2 and three times, as were some of the pine twigs at the top pf the card.

The ornaments and pine cones are heat embossed in copper, and fussy cut out.

The side view below shows how I layered with the dimensionals.

I really like how the inside of the card turned out.

I love all the little stamps in this set because you can create so many different things with them; wreaths, and patterned backgrounds are a couple of ideas I have to experiment with. Thank you for stopping by to have a look. Next on the hop is back to the beginning with Adrienne. If you haven't been there yet, be sure to check out her creation!

If you wish to case this card, the supplies used for this card are listed below. Hope to see you at our next Hop on Saturday October 29th...

Happy stamping!
