Need a Last Minute Gift? - Framed Christmas Decor

I was going to start showing you more things made for Sneak Peeks with the new things I ordered from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue, but decided instead to go back to a couple of Christmas things I've made.

This one is a Sampler made using most of my current Christmas stamp set, using a full 8 1/2" x 11" Whisper White cardstock sheet. This is not the one I gifted, but my first attempt. I wasn't happy that some of the blocks were not perfect. Some sides were not square. The other thing is that with the Nativity scene I tried to save time by putting the three stamps all together on a clear block. The result was that they were too spread out. And the third thing I wasn't happy with is the snowflake block. So I redid it, but never got a photo of it. So to share my idea with you, I'm showing you the first one with it's imperfections, and not framed.

So that you can better see it, here is the top half...

...and here is the bottom half.

I did use a lot of 5" x 3" Post-It-Notes, but it's a fun project to do and you can get Post-Its real cheap at the dollar stores.

This project came together pretty quickly, so if you are still needing a last minute Christmas gift, create something like this. Put it in a frame, and the receiver will have a gift to remember every Christmas when they put it out with their decorations!

Below is everything that I used. What was really different about this project is I didn't have to cut anything!

So if you find a bunch of frames at the thrift stores, you can quickly paint them any colour with spray paint and create wonderful samplers as gifts!

Thank you for stopping by today, and Merry Christmas to you all!
